  • Boiled potatoes – While boiled potatoes are not exactly a preferred option amongst weight watchers, here are a few reasons why you should try them out. It is actually a perfect food to lose weight, containing a wide range of nutrients, a little of everything that your body needs. It is high in potassium and thus good for blood pressure control. Additionally, it is also very filling and therefore by having boiled potatoes, you will feel full and avoid other more potentially damaging food intakes. When you boil potatoes and let them cool, a lot of resistant starch is formed which is ideal for weight loss.
There are a lot of other weight reducing foods that you can try out – leafy vegetables and fruits, tuna and salmon, brown rice and lean beef and chicken breast. However, always ensure that the portions you take are reasonable, to sustain you only and not for the sake of eating itself.
